Nude Heals & a trip of a lifetime!

I have been on the hunt for a lovely pair of nude heals for months, but never came across the right pair. That was until I visited Uniprice.com last week. I found this amazing pair of Nude heals from Alexander Mc Queen, aren’t they just beautiful! Whilst visiting Uniprice.com I read about their contest, which is the chance to win a tip of a life time to the Cannes’s exclusive fashion week!
The contest allows you and a friend to win a trip to Fashion week in Cannes, where you can join a bunch of celebrities and see some amazing fashion by some top designers. It looks very glamorous!
I could think of nowhere better to wear a lovely new pair of Alexander McQueen heals!

I'm all grown up!

A few months ago, in February to be exact I turned twenty. Since then there are some major things that have changed in my life. I have become more independent and unfortunately the bank of ‘Mom and Dad’ closed. I have recently been researching credit card deals online.
I feel I am sensible enough to have a credit card, but before you all shake your heads thinking I will over spend on shoes I do not need, I will highlight the word sensible again!
I feel I will benefit from having one, as being a blogger from the Midlands sometimes puts me at a disadvantage as most events take place in London, and we all know how expensive travel can be.
I feel I have defiantly thought it through, being debt free for the rest of your life would be perfect, but unfortunately that’s very hard to do these days!

What are your thoughts on credit cards?

St Georges Park Hilton Hotel

I recently got the chance to stay at the Hilton Hotel at ST Georges Park in Burton upon Trent. I had the most amazing stay. My partner and me arrived at the Hilton and were amazed by how beautiful the hotel and surrounding area was.
After a smooth check in, we went up to our room, which again exceeded expectations! The hotel is so relaxing and the staff there are amazing. In the evening we went down for dinner and were greeted by our waiter who was very helpful in recommending what to choose, as I may hold the prize for ‘world’s fussiest eater’!
After a lovely meal and a cheeky glass of wine I then went back up to the room for a nice relaxing bath.
In the morning we went down for breakfast, it was a buffet selection, which again was great as I am very fussy with my food.
i thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hilton hotel, it was very relaxing with an added bonus of feeling like royalty with the amazing staff!

I will defiantly be returning very soon!
I am very excited to be giving one of my readers the chance to visit a Hilton hotel with my giveaway of a £100 Hilton Hotel Voucher.

Entry to the giveaway is through Rafflecopter, below you will find the widgt which allows you to enter, there are a bunch of different things you can do to get you more entries.
The Giveaway will last for 1 week; I will announce the winner next Friday.
Good Luck!

Today I'm Adele

I have fell in love with the beehive hairstyle, who better to get inspiration from then the lovely Adele! My hair is quite thin, which means it's quite flat so i am up for anything that gives my hair volume! I love the height of the beehive and how 60's it looks, which is a key trend this spring! I am not a big fan of pristine not a hair of of place hairstyles, so when doing my hair i allowed peices to fall and loosely clipped up hair at the back.
The beehive is defiantly going to be a key hairstyle for me this spring! Lots of volume and hair completely out of my face? Yes please!

Have you tried the Beehive hairstyle yet?

Products I use on my hair

I love trying out new hair care products, I you have been reading my blog for a while, you know that I have had every hair colour under the sun! Because I like dying my hair so much, I have to take very good care of it, which means I need some good quality products!
My heat protectant of choice is the Sebastian trilliant, it can be a little pricey but it is defiantly worth every penny! As my hair is quite thin and naturally straight I love products which give my hair volume.  I have recently fell in love with the Paul Mitchell Extra Body range, my favourites are the Daily Boost spray, The Thicken Up gel and the Finishing spray
I have been an avid user of products from the Umberto Giannini Glam Hair range for ages, I love the backcomb in a bottle, it does what it says on the tin, I am also a big fan of the salt spray and styling moose!

What’s your favourite brand for hair products?

Hot Swimwear Trends for 2013

The winter weather may still be lurking about, but bathing suit season is quickly approaching, which means it’s time to search for that one-of-a-kind swimming costume that’ll turn heads at the beach or pool. No matter if it’s a one-piece or bikini, this year’s swimsuit trends are all about style, sophistication, and showing off curves. Expect to see vintage designs, patterns and prints, and unique detailing on beachwear this summer.

Fashionistas got a preview of the spectacular styles and unique designs emerging this summer during the many shows at this winter’s fashion week. This summer’s beachwear collection allows you to flaunt your assets and show off your wild side. Because of the range of chic styles and colors currently available, the suits of this upcoming season are flattering to many different sizes and shapes, and the bright hues that these swimming costumes come in look good on just about any skin tone. From slinky bikinis to girly one-pieces, the 2013 swimsuit trends will definitely be a hit with fashionable beach goers everywhere.

Cool Cutouts
No matter how you slice it, swimsuits with cutouts are going to be a hot look for this summer. Although patterns and prints are still a hit with fashion’s elite, symmetrical and oddly, disproportioned designs are the newest trend for the beach season. Whether you rock a one-piece suit with cutouts or a shear mid-section or a two-piece with shoulder cutouts or missing shoulders, swimwear designers have upped the ante for beach wear with their brazen styles this summer. Throw in some unconventional prints such as animal, polka dot, and floral, or brilliant, playful colours, and you've got a suit that’s sure to turn heads at any beach or pool.

Curve Appeal
If you’re a curvaceous lady who loves nothing more than to show off her voluptuous figure, then the high-waisted bikinis of the 2013 summer season are more than suitable for you. Within the past few years, fuller –figured women have cast aside the typical one-piece and drab tankini in exchange for swim wear with more attitude and sex appeal. Vintage-inspired high-waisted two-piece suits work best on ladies with fuller figures because they draw attention to areas like the hips and bum, while masking the stomach region. If you aren't entirely comfortable highlighting your sexy assets, retailers like Marks and Spencer offer plenty of lovely, yet attractive beach dresses and cover ups.

Fun Frills
Another new trend that’ll be popular this summer has a bit of a flirty, girly appeal. Bathing suits bearing ruffles are no longer just for little girls as swimwear designers have added some provocative and sophisticated charms to create a saucy adult version of this sweet style. Expect to see ladies sporting dainty, frilly bikinis and one-pieces with ruffled tops, bottoms, and shoulder straps. In addition, many of the new designs featured look good on just about any body type and come in a variety of prints and colours. In addition, designers have created swimming skirts with ruffled embellishments and enchanting adornments.

I will definitely be opting for the high waisted bikini this year, I love the vintage feel they give. What's your favourite swimwear trend?
